Project Description

$2.3 Million Electrical contract for the installation on 4 x 80 metre high light towers with 101 lights on each tower along with 60 infield lights on the new players stand and existing Reg Hickey and Premiership stands allowing the Geelong football club to play night games at Simmonds stadium. The project was started in Jan 2012 and was finished in time to host the first night game between the Geelong Cats and the Gold coast suns in June 2013. In its peak McKnight’s had 16 specially trained electricians working over the 4 towers under multiple levels of management. This project ran at the same time as Simmonds Stadium Stage 3 Players stand.
